Funeral services for Lloyd Lee Miller, Jr., 68, of Sperry, OK, were held Friday, January 3, 2020 at Community of Christ Church in Sperry, OK. Elder Charles Rowden and David Jobe officiated, and burial was in Rest Haven Cemetery in Sperry, OK. Casket bearers were Chris Miller, Josh Miller, Colton “C.J.” Miller, Cherokee Miller, B.J. Delk and Mallie Delk. Honorary Casket bearers were Kenny Hawkins, Buel Anglen, Floyd Barnes, Uel Edwards, Pat Lloyd, Tommy Herman, Jimmy Miller, Buel Jobe, Greg Williamson, Rick Thomas, Lloyd Hicks, Wes McFarland, David Jobe, Bill Fisher, “Hoot” Webb, Ben Miller, John Kiska, Jim Ross Miller, Mike Haney, Dean Tackett, Donnie Carter, Rick Shoemaker, Mel Baker, Ralph Hendryx, Keith Parker, Joe Howard, Ross Miller and Ronnie Kapple.

Lee was born August 25, 1951 in Tulsa, OK to Lloyd Lee Sr. and Delores Jean (Hisaw) Miller. He passed away December 30, 2019 in Tulsa, OK.

Lee was the oldest child of Lloyd Sr. and Delores. He attended Sperry Schools and was active in Sports and FFA. He graduated from Sperry in May of 1969. Lee married his high school sweetheart, Sharon (Williamson) Miller on November 21, 1970. He attended NEO A&M College in Miami with a major in Veterinary Medicine. He began his career with OK Natural Gas in 1970 as a meter reader. He continued to work for One Gas for 49 years where he was still employed as the North Tulsa Metro Operations Supervisor. Lee was very active in the Sperry community and the Sperry School system. He took great pride in his family and close friends. Lee had many hobbies that he enjoyed over the years, such as – coaching youth sports, bowling, playing softball, raising show pigs, farming, gardening, mowing, fishing, grilling, keeping the clock at the basketball games and painting. Lee’s most favorite hobby was playing golf with his close friends and being there for his kids and grandkids during their sports activities. Lee was a son, brother, husband, dad, Umpaw, and dear friend to many.

He is survived by his wife, Sharon Miller of Sperry; children, Chris Miller and wife, Kim of Skiatook, Josh Miller and wife, Melinda of Sperry, Mallie Delk and husband, B.J. of Sperry and Cherokee Miller of Sperry; grandchildren, Colton “C.J.” Miller, Rylee Miller, Hailey Miller, Hannah Miller, Harlie Miller, Brynlie Delk, Jena Delk, Macie Delk, brother, Ross Miller; mother, Jean Miller of Sperry; uncle, Jimmy Miller and wife, Linda of Sperry; aunt, Nellie Ashmore of Broken Arrow; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins; and many other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his father, Lloyd Miller, Sr.; grandparents, Price and Emma Hisaw, and Frank and Mallie Miller; uncles, Irven Miller, Howard Miller, and Myren Miller; aunts, Juanita, Ina, Novella, Vivian, Helen, and Neta; cousin, Lisa (Miller) Byrd.

Arrangements and services were entrusted to Johnson Funeral Home, Sperry.
