Larry Eugene Osborne

Graveside services for Larry Eugene Osborne, 79, of Broken Arrow, OK, were held Tuesday, October 5, 2021, at Floral Haven Cemetery in Broken Arrow, OK. Reverend Roger Miller officiated.

Larry was born July 31, 1942, in Franklin, NC, to Floyd Crawford and Lenwood Elsie “Linda” (Corbin) Osborne. He passed away September 23, 2021, in Broken Arrow, OK.

Larry worked at Winn Dixie grocery store in Hendersonville, NC for over 13 years, eventually retiring at the age of 65. He was a member of the Barker Heights Baptist Church in Hendersonville, NC before settling down in Broken Arrow, OK with his wife, Betty Jane, and family. Larry and Betty Jane were married for over 48 years. Larry was a resident at The Village Healthcare Center until his passing.

He is survived by his wife, Betty Jane Osborne; sister-in-law, Iris Osborne; niece, Kari Carter and husband, Todd; nephew, William Gary Osborne; great-nieces, Anna Ruth, Gracie Helen, and Missy Ruth Thrailkill and wife, Jennifer and their daughter, Alex; great-nephews, Todd Kenneth Carter and Will Osborne; cousin, Kevin Corbin and wife, Beth; and many other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Linda and Floyd Osborne; and brother, Bill Osborne.

Arrangements and services were entrusted to Johnson Funeral Home, Sperry.
