James Robert Stevens

Funeral services for James Robert Stevens, 66, of Turley, OK, were held Sunday, March 1, 2020 at Sperry Christian Church in Sperry, OK. Pastor Adam Stang officiated. Honorary Casket bearers were Randy Corley, Jr., Jim Lee, III, Jeremiah Corley, Daryl Owens, and Matthew Supernaw.

Robert was born September 26, 1953 in Tulsa, OK to Odell Robert Stevens and Lavonna Nadine (Staley) Lee. He passed away February 15, 2020 in Tulsa, OK.

Robert was a retired Sheetrock hanger and was a veteran of the U.S. Army.  Robert loved roping and enjoyed breaking and training horses.

He is survived by his mother, Nadine Lee; nieces, Misty Ingalls and husband Jason of Bella Vista, AR and Kristian; nephews, Randy Corley Jr. and wife, Michelle, Jeremiah Corley, Daryl Owens and Matthew Supernaw; and many other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his sisters, Mary Spurgeon and Lavona Larkins; brother, Jim Lee, II; niece, Wynema Hutchcraft; his maternal and fraternal grandparents.

Arrangements and services were entrusted to Johnson Funeral Home, Sperry.
