Funeral services for Gerald Glenn Cacy, 91, of Owasso, OK, were held Thursday, December 3, 2020 at Memorial Park Cemetery in Tulsa, OK.

Gerald was born August 12, 1929 in Tulsa, OK, to Oral Lincoln and Zoe Francis (Sheridan) Cacy. He passed away November 27, 2020 in Tulsa, OK

Gerald grew up with his parents and five siblings. He attended Central High School in Tulsa. He was a Corporal in the U.S. Army and fought in the Korean War. He later married Aladene and enjoyed their life with two daughters. He worked as a truck driver for many years. Gerald is remembered for many things. His jolly personality was most admired by everyone. He always laughed and made everyone else laugh. He was rarely serious and often “pulled your leg” on every occasion possible. He had a passion for automobiles, especially older models. He was always buying, selling or trading vehicles. Yard work was one of the activities he took pride in doing and spent hours outside. He enjoyed watching Nascar races. Entertaining friends and family with his stories from years past was one of his gifts to many.

He is survived by his daughter, Sherry Edgar and husband, John of Tulsa; nieces and nephews, Barbara Hanger and husband, David of Iowa, Susan Patrick, the late Robert Patrick of Iowa, Janey Thompson and husband, Billy of Sperry, Jennifer Freeny and husband, Billy of Sperry, Debbie Hampton of Bartlesville, Jolynn Emery and husband, Alan of Texas, Brenda Schey and husband, Denny of Texas, Sheryl Pore and husband, Gene of Ohio, Diane Wienczkowski and husband, Dan of Ohio, Cathy Adams, husband Glenn of Norman, Justin Doerr and wife, Tabatha of Coweta, Larry Hampton and wife, Theresa, of Bartlesville, Jerry Hampton and wife, Kari of Bartlesville, and Ron Cacy and wife, Kathy of Ohio, and Chris Cacy; great-nieces and great-nephews, Lauren Hanger, Lindsay Mcculloh, Meghan Hampton, Tyler Thompson, Jacob Hampton, Daniel Hampton, Andy Emery, Addisyn Freeny, Braden Doerr, Chloe Doerr, Blayne Doerr, Annette Horstman, Sherri Johnson, Ronda Cacy, Justin Cacy, Travis Cacy, Jessica Stoddard, Ryan Schey, Derek Schey, Katelin Schey, Joshua Schey, Mike Dilberto, Andrea Nagy, and Kari Lora; best buddy, Calvin Jenkins of Tulsa; and many other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Aladene Cacy; daughter, Bonnie Cacy; brothers, Dwight, Dwayne and Chuck Cacy; sisters, Wanda Hampton and Carolyn Doerr; and mother, Zoe Cacy; and father, Oral Cacy.

Arrangements and services were entrusted to Johnson Funeral Home, Sperry.
