Alice Joan Carpenter

Graveside services for Alice Joan (Harmon) Carpenter, 69, of Tulsa, OK, were held Thursday, April 9, 2020 at Osburn Cemetery in Rocky Ford, OK. Allen Gailley officiated. Casket bearers were Antonio Mack, Eddie Neyens, Isaiah Pruitt, Bobby Tugmon, Joe Pruitt, and Darrell Neyens. Honorary Casket bearers were Mike Hixon, Cordell Thomas, Ryan Jones, Steven Bassham, David Sistler and Christopher Bassham.

Alice was born September 26, 1943 in Salina, OK to Roscoe William and Marie Bonita (Brazeal) Harmon. She passed away March 31, 2020 in Tulsa, OK.

Alice retired from healthcare after working for the Whitaker’s Children’s Home for many years as a caregiver. She also enjoyed needlework.

She is survived by her daughter, Mary Hixon and husband, Mike of Salina, Jeannie Ham and husband, David of Tulsa, Doris Gailley and husband, Allen of Claremore; son, Danny Osburn and wife, Joy of Tulsa; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; sisters, Blanch Sisson, Betty Sitsler and husband, Jay of Salina; and many other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her husbands, Willard Osburn, and Bee Carpenter; and son, Curtis Osburn.

Arrangements and services were entrusted to Johnson Funeral Home, Sperry.
