William Riley Runk, 63, of Tulsa, OK, passed away peacefully on May 4, 2025, surrounded by family. Born on October 25, 1961, in Oklahoma City, OK to Don Lee Runk and Barbara Ann (Chisolm) Runk, William was a beloved son, brother, father, grandfather, and friend.
A proud All-Star athlete for the Oilton Panthers, William’s passion for sports continued as he attended the Northeastern Oklahoma A&M College, where he played baseball and earned an associate degree in printing. His dedication to his craft led to a remarkable 40-year career in the printing industry in the Tulsa area, where he played a key role in shaping its growth and modernization. His commitment to excellence and innovation left a lasting mark on the field. William was admired not only for his professional accomplishments but even more for his generous spirit and unmatched selflessness. His presence lit up a room, and his heart was always open to those in need. He touched countless lives with his kindness, quiet strength, and unwavering support.
He is survived by his loving son, Aaron William Runk, and daughter-in-law Heather Joy Runk; his cherished grandsons, Kade Aaron Runk, Jett Liam Runk, and Rowan Kenneth Runk; his devoted sisters, Kathryn, husband Chris, and Gretchen, and husband Don; and many other treasured family members and dear friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Don and Barbara Runk, who no doubt welcomed him with loving arms.
His legacy of love, service, and dedication will live on in the hearts of all who knew him.
