William Albert "Billy" Delk

Funeral services for William Albert “Billy” Delk, 53, of Sperry, were held Monday, November 5, 2018 at The Lodge at Bridle Creek in Sperry, OK. Mr. John King officiated and burial was in Rest Haven Cemetery in Sperry, OK. Casket bearers were B.J. Delk, Dustin Delk, Will Delk, Colton Miller, Cody Allen and Wes Carr. Honorary casket bearers were Mike Delk, Bobby Delk, Hank Perryman, Jerry Thompson, Scott Ouverson, John Ator, and Jeff Kanten.

Billy was born July 18, 1965 in Corning, CA to Robert Tuscon and Margie Kay (Russell) Delk. He passed away October 31, 2018 in Oklahoma City, OK.

Billy worked for Autopilots Central and Sparrowhawk for 24 years as an aviation mechanic. He was also a man of all trades. Billy’s greatest joy in life was his family. His children and 12 grandchildren were the light of his life. He kept us laughing and hugged us when we cried. He was a loving husband, father, papa. A man with many talents. There are so many wonderful stories, memories and so many great times. Billy had the biggest heart and would do anything for anyone in need – whether it was opening his home to anyone who needed a place to stay, or just lending them a hand. He loved to hunt, fishing, noodle, and raise his whitetail deer.

He is survived by his wife, Deanna Delk of Sperry; children, B.J. Delk and wife Mallie of Sperry, Dusty Delk and wife Ashley of Sperry; Will Delk and wife Kylie of Piedmont, Colton and Heather of Sperry, Maegan of Sperry, and Kayla of Tulsa; grandchildren, Brynlie, Talon, Paige, Jena, Brooklyn, Jordyn, Hadlie, Riah, Tynlee, Baylie, Macie, and Easton; mother, Margie Delk of Skiatook; brother, Bobby Delk and wife Susan of Tulsa; brother, Mike Delk and wife Cheryl of Skiatook; sister, Robin Showalter and husband Brian of Waurika, OK; numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins; and many other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his father, Robert Delk; brother, Tony Delk; and his grandma and grandpa Delk and grandma and grandpa Russell.
