Vera loved her church family and was proud to be a Christian. She attended Friendship Baptist in Owasso. Through the years, Vera loved working with little children and spent 30 years teaching in the 2- and 3-year-old class for Sunday School. She loved to travel and see new places. Her hobbies were doing crafts like sewing, crochet, and porcelain doll making. Vera was married to Lester Dobbs and had three children before losing him in a car accident in California. She moved back to Oklahoma to be with family and met Tommy Johnson, who she was married to for 50 years and they had one child together.
