Thomas Jefferson "Jeff" May

Funeral services for Jeff May, 42, of Tulsa, were Friday, Feb. 22, 2008 in the Johnson Funeral Chapel in Sperry. The Rev. Adam Stang officiated and burial was in the Rest Haven Cemetery at Sperry, under the direction of Johnson Funeral Home of Sperry.
Honorary pallbearers were John James May, David John Prestridge, David Robinson, John Robinson, Steve Dick, Tom Robinson, James Royal Prestridge, Jeffrey Alexander Prestridge, Bob Kennett, Robert Charles May, David Roy Prestridge, and Kristopher Prestridge.
Pianist and vocalist was Lindsey Buckmaster.
May was born on March 13, 1965 in Tulsa to John Harmon Jr. and Vivian Louvinia (McKerley) May. He passed away on Feb. 17, 2008.He enjoyed working on his own vehicles and he kept inventory at the salvage. He was extraordinarily skilled with tools. He worked as a recycler and as scrapper.
He is survived by his daughter, Melody Noelle; Melody's mother, Tami Thompson; brother, John James May; sister, Margie Prestridge and husband David; nephews, D.J. Prestridge, James Prestridge, Jeffrey Prestridge and Kristopher Prestridge; nieces, Moneta Prestridge, Elizabeth Prestridge and Cassandra Prestridge; grandmother, Margie McKerley; and many other relatives and friends.
