Celebration of Life services for Thomas Keith Hammons, 49, of Sperry, OK, were held Thursday, May 29, 2025, at First Baptist Owasso in Owasso, OK. Pastor Brad Aylor officiated.
Keith was born on February 27, 1976, in San Jose, CA. He passed away passed away peacefully on May 10, 2025, at his home.
Keith was lovingly adopted into the family of Tom and Kay Hammons, where he was cherished by his parents and big sister, Becky, in Sperry, OK. Keith lived a life overflowing with love, faith, and devotion to family. A 1994 graduate of Sperry High School, Keith was a dual-sport athlete, excelling in football and baseball. He later attended Tulsa Welding School and built a career as a skilled welder and automotive mechanic. Keith’s passion for motorcycles defined much of his life; he rode countless miles as a proud member of Bikers Against Child Abuse, Tulsa Chapter, and supported numerous charitable causes within the motorcycle community. His generous spirit and heart for the underprivileged reflected the love of his Savior, Jesus Christ, whom Keith accepted as his Lord in 1990. A baptized believer, he was a longtime member of First Baptist Church of Owasso, where his faith shone brightly.
He is survived by beloved wife, Melinda Hammons, and step-son, Anthony Boucher, of Sperry; father, Tommy Hammons of Tahlequah; sister, Becky Hale, and husband, Rusty, of Oologah; nephew, Taylor Hale, wife, Leeana, and great-nieces, Gracelyn and Aaliyah, of Tahlequah; niece, Samantha Hale of Stillwater; aunt, Kay Adams of Broken Arrow; uncle, Roger Adams, and wife, Jan, of Tulsa; uncle, Bud Adams of Tulsa; and many cousins and friends. He will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and community. The family extends heartfelt gratitude to their friends and church family for their unwavering support during this time.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Hammons and Adams; sons, Christian and Devon Hammons; mother, Kay Hammons; sister, Beth Hammons; uncles, Noah Hammons, Bob Adams, and Charles Bean; and cousin, Sarah Adams.
