Shirley G. Newman
Funeral services for Shirley Gean Newman, of Skiatook, were held Wednesday, June 20, 2012 at Grace Baptist Church in Sperry, OK. Reverend Bill Fields officiated and burial was in Rest Haven Cemetery in Sperry, OK. Casket bearers were Glenn Wagner, J.L. Wagner, Gary Wagner, Bill Wagner, Perry Newman Jr., and Brian Newman.
Shirley was born November 19, 1941 in Glass, AR to Herschel and Allene (Bryant) Wagner. She passed away June 15, 2012 in Tulsa, OK at the age of 70.
Shirley was a loving wife and mother who loved taking care of her family.
She is survived by her husband, Perry Newman of the home; daughter, Connie Watson; sons, Brian Newman and Perry Newman; grandchildren, Latisha Ayers, Ariel Newman and Bailey Newman; brothers, G. Glenn Wagner, J.L. Wagner, Gary Wagner, and Bill Wagner; sisters, Kathleen Shepherd, Laverne Newman, and Bonnie Scranton; and many other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Herschel and Allene Wagner.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to Grace Baptist Church 4316 E. 96th St. N. Sperry, Ok 74073.
