Shawn Dee Lenard

Memorial services for Shawn Dee Lenard, 42, of Wagoner, were held Wednesday, July 27, 2016 at New Beginnings Outreach in Wagoner, OK. Pastor Terry Presley officiated and burial will be in Charley Cemetery in Sperry, OK 74073.

Shawn was born October 20, 1973 in Tulsa, OK to J.D. and Frances Irene (Tiblow) Lenard. He passed away July 22, 2016 in Tulsa, OK.

Shawn graduated from Will Rogers High School in 1991 and attended Wyoming Auto Mechanic School. Shawn's greatest accomplishment was his three children. He looked forward to Friday Night football, watching his two sons, Dakota and Steven, two time state champion and Ruby, his little princess, was also involved in school activities and band. He enjoyed fishing, tinkering with automobiles and spending time with his family. He loved his little nephews and they loved him. Shawn was known as a loving and caring person. He was also there for his mother when anything needed to be done. He will be greatly missed.

He is survived by his wife, Christy Lenard of the home; sons, Dakota and Steven; daughter Ruby; sisters, Debbie Walker and husband Johnny of Tulsa and Tammy Spaulding of AR; several aunts, uncles and cousins; nieces, Tasha Green husband Danny of Wagoner, Juliann Lancon husband Logan of Houston. TX; nephews, Darren Walker of Los Angeles, CA, Bradley Spaulding of Wagoner, Michael Green, Daniel Green, Matthew Green and Jimmy Green; mother, Frances Irene Lenard of Wagoner; and many other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his father, J.D. Lenard; and brother, Michael Lenard.
