Sharon Margaret Peterson

Memorial services for Sharon Margaret Peterson, 44, of Tulsa, were held Wednesday, November 25, 2015 at St. Pius X Church in Tulsa, OK. Father Matt Gerlach officiated. Honorary casket bearers were Nicole Peterson, Matthew Peterson, Michael Otto, Nicholas Otto, Nancy Otto, Margaret Otto, Zachary Otto, and Jeffrey Otto.

Sharon was born November 10, 1971 in Superior, WI to Rodney James “Jim” and Judy Margaret (Nessman) Peterson. She passed away November 21, 2015 in Tulsa, OK.

Sharon came to Tulsa in 1982 with her family, attending Kendall Whittier Elementary, Wilson Middle School and graduating from Will Rogers High School in 1990. She worked for the U.S. Postal Service as a Postal Carrier for over 20 years. She enjoyed reading, going to the movies, and traveling to various states to visit her family.

She is survived by her sister, Diane Otto and husband David; brother, Eric Peterson and wife Maleaia; nieces, Nicole Peterson, Nancy Otto, and Margaret Otto; nephews, Matthew Peterson, Michael Oto, Nicholas Otto, Zachary Otto, and Jeffrey Otto; mother, Judy Peterson; and many other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her father, Rodney “Jim” Peterson.
