Ruth Alice Maddy

Ruth Alice Maddy, 85, of Sperry, OK, was born December 9, 1939, in Flagstaff, AZ, to Verbin Edwin Maddy and Agnes Rose (Gold) Maddy. She passed away April 23, 2025, in Sperry, OK.

In the 50’s Ruth was in the Civil Air Patrol while she was attending Central High School. Ruth worked in the healthcare industry for most of her adult life. She enjoyed helping people. Ruth had horses and would participate in camp outs and trail rides. She loved large dogs.

She is survived by her brothers, Robert Maddy of Sperry, and J. Douglas Maddy of Tuscon, AZ; nephew, Aaron Douglas Maddy of CA; and many other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Verbin and Agnes Maddy.

Arrangements were entrusted to Johnson Funeral Home, Sperry.
