Ronnie was born December 10, 1949 in Tulsa, OK, to Roy Ford Weathers and Evelyn Marie (Sutton) Weathers. He passed away November 13, 2020 in Tulsa, OK.
Ronnie was a beloved son, brother, husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather. He was known to his grandchildren as “PawPaw”. He was a rough, tuff, bigger than life hero to all of us. Ronnie was the most unselfish man anyone could meet, with years spent volunteering with Turley Fire Department, Turley Round Up Club, Tulsa County Sheriff’s Department reserves, to later becoming a deputy, and then retiring from the County Highway Department. Ronnie was most proud of his country, and of his service to his country in the Marines. Ronnie’s biggest joy was his family and playing with his kids and grandkids. He was always striving to put a smile on someone’s face, even strangers by being silly with his witty one liners. Lastly, and the funniest, was how much he fed his girls (cows), always boasting about how he could hold a dozen eggs on all his girls (cows) backs and saying “I like ‘em fat.”
He is survived by wife of 46 years, Zelda Weathers of Sperry/Talala; children, Lisa Weathers, Kimberly Torrey and husband, Gregg of Oologah, Racheal Huff and husband, Steve of Collinsville, Roy Weathers and wife, Amanda of Collinsville, Rusty Weathers and wife, Kristi of Talala, and Raymond Weathers and wife, Rita of Sperry; grandchildren, Jacob Weathers, Matthew Helm, Garrett Qualls, Kayla Torrey, Camiren Torrey, Jessica Huff, Braden Huff, Caleb Huff, Taylor Huff, Caden Weathers, Baylor Weathers, Presley Weathers, Breanna Weathers, Stormy Weathers, Kyann Weathers, Ryker Weathers, Rodney Weathers, Raylee Weathers; great-grandchild, Aubrey Najera; brother, Leroy Weathers and wife, Phyllis of Sperry, sister, Jeannie Stanley and husband, Gary of Owasso; mother, Evelyn Weathers of Owasso; and a host of many other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his father, Roy Ford Weathers, and grandparents, Bert and Annie Weathers.
Arrangements and services were entrusted to Johnson Funeral Home, Sperry.
