Funeral services for Ronald Eugene “Ronnie” Ferguson, 72, of Skiatook, OK, were held Friday, April 17, 2026, at Skiatook Free Will Baptist Church in Skiatook, OK. Reverend Mitch Leonard officiated and burial was in Osage Gardens Cemetery in Skiatook, OK. Casket bearers were Aaron Cronander, Austin Qualls, Jack Johnson, Remington Johnson, Scott Sterling, and Hunter Johnson. Honorary Casket bearers were Tyler Qualls, Timothy Qualls, Cody Helton, Buddy Kons, and Garrett Wayne Wright.

Ronnie was born June 16, 1953, in Ada, OK, to Chester Eugene Ferguson and Ollie Lane (Whitworth) Ferguson. He passed away April 10, 2026, in Tulsa, OK.

Ronnie worked as a dedicated maintenance groundskeeper for over 33 years, taking pride in his work and the care he gave to everything around him. In his free time, he found great joy in the outdoors—whether hunting, camping, fishing, or swimming. He also loved searching for arrowheads and tending to his garden, simple pleasures that brought him peace and fulfillment.

Above all, Ronnie cherished time spent with his family and friends. Those moments together meant the most to him and will be remembered by all who knew and loved him.He is survived by his wife, Karen Ferguson; children, Tracy Sterling and husband, Scott, Elisa Johnson and husband, Jack, Rebekah Cronander and husband, Aaron; grandchildren, Tyler Qualls, Austin Qualls, Timothy Qualls, Remington Johnson, Hunter Johnson, Layla Cronander, Jocelyn Qualls, and Lillie Qualls; and many other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his father, Chester Ferguson; mother, Ollie Ferguson; and brother, Rickie Johnson.
