Robert Lee “Bob” Taylor, 87, of Cleveland, OK, to Hermas Arthur Taylor and Doris Bessie (Howe) Taylor. He passed away June 1, 2024, in Cleveland, OK.

Robert lovingly known as “Bob” and ”Grandpa”, worked for several years as an over-the-road truck driver, mechanic, and owner of Grandpa’s Lawn Mower Repair. He loved fishing and loved to do both dirt track and drag racing.

He is survived by his children, David Taylor and wife, Peggy of Cleveland, Laura Lynne Wharton and husband, Jerry Wharton of Claremore, Lesa Taylor of Eucha, Michael Taylor and wife Margo, of Bixby, and Kristy Taylor of Pawhuska; grandchildren, Melissa Ann Soap and husband, Kevin of Chouteau, Dustin Bowles of Claremore, Rebecca Gutierrez and husband, Jeramine of Broken Arrow, Amanda Xander and husband, Patrick of Ochelata, Jason Stowers of CA, Tabitha Stowers of AR, Bobbie Smith of KS, Sherri Rowe of Tulsa, Missy Bench of Skiatook, and Michael Taylor, Jr. of Locust Grove; great-grandchildren, Christopher “CJ” Phillips, Jr., Krynston Bowles, Charlie Jo Bowles, Chloe Lyle, Cooper Lyle, Conner Hesslen, Chloe Stowers, Piper Stowers, Alyce Stowers, Draven Xander, Devana Rowe, Caleb Bench, Colton Bench, Chloe Bench, Raven Dale, Gary Dale, Gabriel Dale, Lakota Taylor, Michael Taylor, Maddix Taylor, and Lily Taylor; brother, Allen Taylor of Talala; sister, Geri Reid and husband, Robert of NC, brother-in-law, Carl McCombs of Foyil; sisters-in-law, Wanda Lee of Foyil, and Patsy Hartley and husband, Ken of Lavaca, AR.

Preceded in death by wife, Daisy Jean (McCombs) Taylor; son, Kenneth Dean Taylor; parents, Herman and Doris Taylor; and mother and father-in-law, Ishmael and Thelma McCombs.

Arrangements and services were entrusted to Johnson Funeral Home, Sperry.
