Robert Eugene Rothhammer, was born on February 9, 1966, in Tulsa, OK, to Ralph Eugene Rothhammer and Christine (Perry) Rothhammer. He passed away on July 28, 2026, in Tulsa, OK, at the age of 60.
From his earliest days, Robert had a zest for life and a fierce love for the outdoors. Hunting and fishing were not just hobbies for him, but ways to connect with nature and find peace and fulfillment. He lived with a kind heart and an adventurous spirit, finding joy in the outdoors and sharing that same joy with those he loved. Robert's adventures outside mirrored his generosity and warmth within. As a child, Robert was known for his athleticism, displaying remarkable talent in many sports. Football, basketball, and baseball each provided a stage for him to shine. His competitive spirit was always matched by his sportsmanship and encouragement for others, shaping friendships and memories that lasted a lifetime. Robert was a forklift operator for Bama Pie in Tulsa for many years, and worked hard to care for his family. More than any achievement, Robert held his proudest titles close to his heart: father and grandfather. The love, lessons, and care he gave will forever be treasured by his family, a testament to the man he was and the legacy he leaves behind. Robert's memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew him, and he will be dearly missed.
He is survived by his wife, Frances Rothhammer; children, Brad Shimack and wife, Janna, Chad Rothhammer and wife Kayla, Justin Rothhammer, and Kyle Rothhammer; grandchildren, Chase Rothhammer, and Chance Rothhammer; mother, Christine Rothhammer; sisters, Sharon Hilgeman and husband, Todd and Patty Thompson and husband, Matt; several nieces and nephews; and many other relatives and friends.
