Robert Henry Johnson, Sr.

Funeral services for Robert Henry Johnson, Sr., 69, of Tulsa, OK, were held Wednesday, June 26, 2024, at Johnson Funeral Chapel in Sperry, OK. Phil Johnson officiated.

Robert. was born August 28, 1954, in Fort Worth, TX, to Henry Elmer Johnson and Ruby Faye Templeman. He passed away June 20, 2024, in Tulsa, OK.

Robert proudly served his country in the United States Army and was stationed in Korea from August 31, 1971 – November 3, 1972. After his military service, Robert went to work with his dad in a television repair shop and learned everything there was about electronics. He later went on to work as a truck driver for 13 years. After retiring from truck driving, Robert decided to become a pilot car driver for another 13 years. He then partially retired and stayed home and worked in his shop doing miscellaneous things and working with electronics.

He is survived by his wife, Angela Johnson; children, Tabitha Johnson and boyfriend, Justin of TX, Crystal Hilburn of FL, Candace Johnson and boyfriend, Brandon of Tulsa, Kylah Brown and husband, Jacob of Owasso, Robert Johnson, Jr. and girlfriend, Kalia of Tulsa, Robin Johnson and boyfriend, Cory of Tulsa, Breanna Pitcher of Tulsa, Trae Webster of TX, and Khalil Hutto of Tulsa; 19 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; nieces, Tabitha Corona of TX, and Cindy Sloan of TX; and many other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his father, Henry Johnson; mother, Ruby Templeman; brother, Ronnie L. Johnson of Tulsa; stepfather, Wallace Rock of Tulsa; stepmother, Mary Francis Johnson of TX; and stepson, Nick Denham of Tulsa.

Arrangements and services were entrusted to Johnson Funeral Home, Sperry.
