Rhonda RaeDean Parker

Memorial services for Rhonda RaeDean (Byrd) Parker, 63, of Tulsa, OK, were held Friday, August 9, 2019 at Frist Free Will Baptist Church in Weleetka, OK. Wesley Berry officiated.

Rhonda was born February 26, 1956 in Andrews County, TX to Billy Ray and Athadean (Crumpley) Byrd. She passed away August 3, 2019 in Tulsa, OK.

Rhonda loved to love on people, especially babies. She had a way of making people feel like family from the start. Rhonda could make anything and was very gifted at arts and crafts; whether that was a Christmas wreath, or making her grandson’s bedding from start to finish. She was considered “Disneyland Grandma” because there were no boundaries when it came to her grandchildren. Ice cream for breakfast? Pepsi for bedtime? Sure! Spoiling her babies was an understatement and it was something she was very proud of. Rhonda also loved listening to Bluegrass and country music, but her favorite music was listening to her daddy sing, while she sang harmony with her sisters.

She is survived by her husband of 40 years, Robert “Bobby” Parker; children, Billy VanWinkle and wife, Misty, and Chelsea Dixon and husband, Caleb; grandchildren, Charles, Courtney, Cody, Chaseton, Kylee, Eli and Judah; great-grandchildren, Isabella and Gabriella; sisters, Becky Giddens and Bridget Byrd; parents, Billy Ray Byrd, Willa Byrd and Claudia Byrd; numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins; and many other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Athadean Byrd; and sister, Vicky Coble.

Memorial donations in Rhonda’s memory may be made to the First Free Will Baptist Church, 915 Creek Ave., Weleetka, OK 74880.

Arrangements and services were entrusted to Johnson Funeral Home, Sperry.
