Memorial services for Randall “Randy” Eric Rhodes, 63, of Sperry, OK, were held Saturday, May 17, 2025, at Sequoyah Hills Baptist Church in Tulsa, OK. Jeremy Rhodes officiated, and burial was in Rest Haven Cemetery in Sperry, OK. Honorary Casket bearers were Kenny Turner, Jerry Miller, Brett Keathley, Cris Keathley, Dan Hawkins, Jeff Arnold, Chuck Ratcliff, John McGuire, Robert Cope, and Jeremy Rhodes.

Randy was born July 25, 1961, in Tulsa, OK, to Jerry Theodore Rhodes and Bette Joann (Robertson) Rhodes. He passed away May 2, 2025, in Broken Arrow, OK.

Randy attended Eastwood Baptist High School in Tulsa and graduated with the class of 1979. He went on to attend Baptist Bible College in Springfield, MO and Friends Bible College in Haviland, KS. Randy worked in the trucking industry for the majority of his adult life as a tire man or diesel mechanic. He worked as a machinist for Crane Carrier Company in Tulsa, a tire man for Ellex Transportation in Tulsa, a tire salesman for Goodyear Tire in Catoosa, a diesel mechanic for Ryder for 26 years, a diesel mechanic for Frontier International in Tulsa, and as a fabrication technician for the Whirlpool Corporation in Tulsa. Randy married Cammie Koinzan on March 27, 1982, in Wellsford, KS and they were married for 43 years. Randy and Cammie lived in Tulsa from March 1982 – August 1992, when they moved west of Sperry to raise their daughters, Julie and Jeanette. In January 2008, they moved to Skiatook and remained there for 12 years, until they moved back to west of Sperry after building a house in 2020. Randy enjoyed fishing, boating, swimming, water skiing, jet skiing, motorcycle riding, golfing, horseback riding, bicycle riding, watching sports on TV, attending sprint car races and bull riding events. Randy loved the Lord and enjoyed listening to sermons, especially on end time prophecy. He enjoyed all types of music genres as well. His favorite groups were Chicago; Earth, Wind & Fire; Frank Sinatra; Tim McGraw; Kenny Chesney; and pop / soft rock songs from the 70’s. Randy never met a stranger and would take the opportunity to make a new friend when it presented itself. He liked to visit and catch up with family and friends.

He is survived by his wife, Cammie Rhodes of Sperry; daughters, Julie Southerland and husband, Justin of Bartlesville, and Jeanette Haylock and husband, Elroy of Collinsville; grandchildren, Gunner Southerland and Hannah Southerland of Bartlesville, and Ezra Haylock, and Archie Haylock of Collinsville; sister-in-law, Janet Rhodes of Tulsa; nephew, Jeremy Rhodes and family of Claremore; niece, Jaime Rhodes and family of Claremore; mother-in-law, Alene Woods of Sperry; sisters-in-law, Carla Robinson and family of Tulsa, and Dawnie Leach and family of Claremore; brothers-in-law, Lonnie Koinzan and family of Woodward, and Todd Koinzan and family of Alpine, TX; and many other relatives, friends, and co-workers.

He was preceded in death by his grandson, Henry Benjamin Haylock; parents, Jerry and Joann Rhodes; brothers, Roger Lynn Rhodes, and Ronald Wayne Rhodes; paternal grandparents, Samuel Andrew Rhodes, and Loretta (Reed) Rhodes; and maternal grandparents, William Michael Robertson and Clara Lucille Kelley.

Arrangements and services were entrusted to Johnson Funeral Home, Sperry.
