Memorial Services for Ralph Beverly Colson, 70, of Broken Arrow, OK, were held Sunday, February 1, 2026, at Sperry Town Hall in Sperry, OK. Brother Carl Stage officiated. Honorary Casket bearers were Jimmy Colson, Randy Colson, Ricky Wood, Rick Stout, Billy Colson, and David Colson.
Ralph was born August 8, 1955, in Sand Springs, OK, to William “Bill” Morrison and Nellie Beatrice (Johnson) Morrison. He passed away January 27, 2026, in Tulsa, OK.
Ralph worked as a plumber in the commercial plumbing industry before becoming a fire sprinkler installer for Western Fire Protection. He worked in various department stores, malls, and office buildings. When he was younger, he enjoyed hanging out with friends and chasing girls. He later settled down and started his family. He was married to his first wife, Tammi and together they had a son. He later married again to Tina and together they had two children. He created a wonderful family, and they were always there for each other. Ralph enjoyed listening to country and western music, going dancing, and playing in various pool leagues and tournaments, and even won several trophies. He also loved playing baseball when he was younger and was #22. Ralph loved everything OU, especially football and would always have his hats and blankets out for the games.
He is survived by his children, Randy Colson of Tulsa, Jimmy Colson of Sperry, and Stefanie Colson of Sperry; siblings, Mary Frances Allen of Langley, Billy Colson of Owasso, Debra McHenry of Tulsa, Brenda Kay Ellis of Muskogee, and LaDonna Hornerkamp of Tampa Bay, FL; and many other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Bill and Nellie Morrison; and siblings, Billy Joe Morrison, Bobby Leon Morrison, Raleigh Morrison, Charles Colson, Lynda Coleman, Leon Colson, Jerry Colson, Gary Colson, and Glen Colson.
Arrangements and services were entrusted to Johnson Funeral Home, Sperry.
