Patricia JoAnn "Patti" Dobbs

Memorial services for Patricia JoAnn (Salyers) Dobbs, 76, of Sperry, OK, were held Saturday, March 5, 2022, at Johnson Funeral Chapel in Sperry, OK. Phillip Johnson and John Cloud officiated. Honorary Casket bearers were Levi Ford, Creighton Cloud, and Clairisa Dobbs.

Patti was born February 3, 1946, in Los Angeles, CA, to Sefus Oudy and May Leola (Echols) Salyers. She passed away March 1, 2022, in Tulsa, OK.

Patti was a waitress, nurse assistant, and a notary in addition to being very active in the family-owned wrecker service business. She took great pride in her family and her grandchildren. She loved spending time and making memories with her grandchildren. If you were to ask them, they would tell you that Patti was the best Nana in the world. Patti loved to go fishing, camping, gardening, and anything to do with spending time with her family. She always tried to help others, and always looked for the good in everything. Patti put others above her own wants and even needs. She was always trying to take care of everyone else. In the past few years, she enjoyed taking many trips to Branson, Silver Dollar City, and Eureka Springs with her youngest grandchildren. Patti was one a kind and will be missed deeply by those close to her.

She is survived by her children, Tammy DeShazer and spouse, Frank Denney, Karl DeShazer, Jr., Steve DeShazer, Donnie Dobbs and spouse, Maureen, and Jana Dobbs and spouse, Sherman Conley; 10 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; brothers, James Salyers and David Salyers and spouse, Judy; numerous nieces and nephews; and many other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Sefus and May Salyers, husband, Don Dobbs; and daughter, Amber Dobbs.

Arrangements and services were entrusted to Johnson Funeral Home, Sperry.
