Funeral services for Minnie Bell (Kennedy) Black, 98, of Tulsa, were held Friday, March 27, 2015 at Johnson Funeral Chapel in Sperry, OK. Phillip Johnson officiated and burial was in Woodland Cemetery in Cleveland, OK. Casket bearers were Donny Maher, Dylan Carpenter, Kennith Mahan, James Mahan, Donny Farrell, Jesse Carpenter, Ricky Cook, and Wesley Mahan. Honorary casket bearers were Daniel Hahn, Brian Mahan, Will Groce, and Eric Cook.

Minnie was born February 25, 1917 in Boston Pool, OK to Elias and Ida Mae (Kennedy) Bryant. She passed away March 24, 2015 in Sand Springs, OK.

Minnie married Ralph Beckwith and had two daughters. She eventually married Olin Black and moved to Tulsa where she lived her remaining years. Minnie enjoyed embroidery, gardening, music, and spending time with her many, many kids and grandkids.

She is survived by her daughter, Sharon Eskew and husband John of Sand Springs; son-in-law, Donny Maher of Mannford; grandchildren, Kenneth “Troy” Mahan and wife Carol of Tulsa, Brian Mahan of Kansas City, MO, Stephanie Hahn and husband Danny of Collinsville, Lori Maher of Mannford, Kelli Eskew of Tulsa, Donny Maher, Jr. of Mannford, and David Farrell; 18 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; and many other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Olin Black; daughter, Barbara Maher; two grandsons; one great-grandson; sister, Myrtle Wagers; brother, John D. Kennedy; and parents Elias and Ida Bryant.
