Mildred was born March 30, 1942, in Coweta, OK, to Lee Henry Dobbs and Blanche Mae (Ireland) Dobbs. She passed away May 25, 2023, in Skiatook, OK.

Mildred was deeply cherished by her grandparents, aunts, uncles, and numerous others who held a special place in their hearts for her. Some of her first cousins may have even playfully described her as "spoiled." Millie led an active life, participating in various school events such as cheerleading, basketball, teen town dances, and numerous social gatherings. Following her family's relocation to Sperry, she developed a particular fondness for spending time with her many first cousins, Bennie Joe and Ronnie "Duggan" and Mackie Dobbs, as well as Paul and Chrystol Burt. Millie took great pleasure in their company and often reminisced about their memorable experiences together. She would occasionally recount the amusing tale of playfully shooting Paul with a BB gun in the forehead. She especially enjoyed spending time with their parents, the Dobbs and the Burts, for stayovers. After graduating from high school, Millie briefly resided in Fremont, NE, where she worked as a switchboard operator. Upon returning to Sperry, she met her beloved Charles W. Sisler, whom she eventually married. Together, they were blessed with two daughters, Deirdre, and Rise. While Charles managed the family farming operation, they established their home in Turley. Charles later joined the Tulsa Fire Department while simultaneously assisting his brother, Jim, and his wife, Judy, in managing the family farm. Millie found immense joy in hosting family dinners and engaging in card games with their loved ones. She also found joy in playing tennis, teaching ceramics classes at O'Brien Park in Tulsa, crafting with her friends, and taking botany classes at Tulsa Community College.  As time went on, Millie devoted her energy to showcasing her handcrafted items at various booths, even venturing as far as Branson, MO. Millie cherished the company of her friends and grandsons, Cord and Mitch, during their travels. The "craft tour" they embarked on together held special memories for all involved. Millie's nieces and nephews adored spending time at the Sisler Farm, where Michelle Maybee Patterson affectionately started calling Mildred "Mimi," a nickname that stuck and eventually became the endearing term used by all the little ones. Mimi held a special place in her heart for mischievous boys who found solace in her presence. While she had many favorites, countless memories exist of her guiding and teaching those mischievous boys, at times resorting to a gentle "flip-flop." Mimi took immense pride in her grandsons, Cord, Mitchell, Cole, and Tuff. In her later years, Millie resided with her daughter, Rise, in Skiatook, where she cherished the time spent with her grandsons, their wives, and her great-grandchildren. She shared a particularly close bond with Shanda, who played an instrumental role in her care and well-being, as well as dear caretaker, Amy (Pleasant) Seago.

She is survived by her husband, Charles Sisler; daughters, Deirdre (Sisler) Hodge and her husband, Bill Scott, and Rise Sisler; grandsons, Cord L. Hodge and wife, Casey, Mitchell Spurlock and wife, Shanda, Cole Hodge, and Tuff Hodge and wife, Haley; great-grandchildren, Charlee Jo Hodge, Crockett Lee Hodge, Matthew Augustus “Gus” Spurlock, Randall “Woodrow” Spurlock, Kyanne Rose Hodge and Jensen Cash Hodge.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Curley and Lee; her sister, Ruby May; and son-in-law, Randy Hodge.

Arrangements and services were entrusted to Johnson Funeral Home, Sperry.
