Graveside services for Melba Jean (Pace) Wilkinson, 89, of Turley, were held Wednesday, November 18, 2015 at Hillside Mission Cemetery in Skiatook, OK. Chaplain Bob Cooper, Jr. officiated. Casket bearers were Jarett Michael Brooks and Austin Michael Cornwell. Honorary casket bearers were Melba’s Odd Fellows Friends.

Melba was born December 2, 1925 in Tulsa, OK to Seamore and Stella (Keys) Pace. She passed away November 13, 2015 in Owasso, OK.

Melba was a retired pharmacy technician. She loved to work in her garden with her flowers, and set up a booth at the flea market with all of her antiques. Melba was member of the Rebekah’s with the Odd Fellows. She enjoyed collecting elephants and Buddhas, and going bowling. She also loved her Red Cardinals, and bird watching. Melba was also known for her homemade chocolate.

She is survived by her son, Kenneth Wilkinson of Turley; grandchildren, Kevin Trantham of Tulsa, Stacey Hollars of Owasso, Michelle Brooks of Tulsa, and Debbie Hellard and husband Dusty of Owasso; nine great-grandchildren; sisters, Mary Wilkinson of Tahlequah, Annie McCreary of Spavinaw, and Patty Spurgeon of Barnsdall; brothers, Jackie Pace of Claremore and Ronnie “Sampy” Pace of Turley; and many other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Seamore and Stella Pace; husband, Otis Wilkinson; daughter, Donna Trantham; and brothers, Jim “Kunky” Pace and Bobby Pace.
