Melanie Raye Honey (Bunn) King

Memorial services for Melanie Raye Honey (Bunn) King, 38, of Claremore, OK, were held Wednesday, September 21, 2022, at Johnson Funeral Chapel in Sperry, OK. Daniel Bunn officiated. Honorary Casket bearers were Daniel Bunn, Zach Bunn, Timmy Bunn, Andy Juby, and John Bunn.

Melanie was born April 20, 1984, in Tulsa, OK, to Stephen Christian Bunn and Shirley (Juby) Jones. She passed away September 16, 2022, in Broken Arrow, OK.

Melanie worked in the medical field as a Certified Medication Aide. She enjoyed watching The Price Is Right with her dad and enjoyed being with her children and family for any special occasion. Most of all, Melanie loved her children very much.

She is survived by her children, Noah Eugene King, Destiny Abigail Elizabeth King, Jacek Raye King, and Hayden Christian King; parents, Shirley J. and Nathan E. Jones of Artesia, NM; sisters, Chelsea Jones of Tulsa, and Olivia Jones of Norman; paternal grandmother, Mildred Bunn of Claremore; a host of aunts, uncles, and cousins; and many other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her father, Stephen Christian Bunn of Tulsa; maternal grandparents, Cowboy and Joan Juby of Sperry; and paternal grandfather, James D. Bunn of Tulsa.

Arrangements and services were entrusted to Johnson Funeral Home, Sperry.
