Graveside services for Matthew Louis “Boy” Rocho, Jr., of Catoosa, were held Sunday, December 23, 2012 at Charley Cemetery in Sperry, OK. Michael Ray Stanley and Chiefy Tiger officiated. Casket bearers were Shane Landsberry, Harold Perkins, John Landsberry, Brandon Perkins, Michael Ray Stanley, and Ray Castro. Honorary casket bearers were Elijah Johnston, Levi Mather, Adam Rhode, Patrick Mayo, Jace Johnston, Jacob Landsberry, and Zachary Hummel.
Matt was born October 30, 1983 in Battle Creek, MI to Matthew Louis Rocho, Sr. and Toni Landsberry. He passed away December 20, 2012 in Tulsa, OK at the age of 29.
“Boy” or “B”, as Matt was called by his uncle and family, went to school in Okmulgee and worked as an iron and metal worker. He enjoyed going fishing, boating, and hunting. Matt especially loved spending time with his family and friends.
He is survived by his mother, Toni L. Landsberry of Catoosa; father, Jack Landsberry of Tulsa; sisters, Stephanie Johnston of Catoosa, Jennifer Rocho of Catoosa, Jennifer Landsberry of Henryetta, and Sarah Landsberry of Henryetta; brothers, Shane Landsberry of AR, and John Landsberry of Tulsa; uncles, Michael Ray Stanley of Tulsa, and Harold Perkins of Catoosa; aunt, Rebecca Hummel of MI; eight nieces and nephews; ten cousins; maternal grandfather, Stephen Perkins of MI; paternal great-grandmother, Dixie Rocho of TN; and many other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his father, Matthew Rocho, Sr.; uncle, Bobby Joe Stanley; maternal grandmother, Rose L. Perkins; and paternal great-grandfather, Burel Rocho.
