Mary Bridget (Egan) Davis

Mary Bridget Davis was born on September 11, 1962, in Tulsa, OK to Ignatius Timothy “Tim” Egan and Maureen Patricia (Corr) Egan. She was always called Bridget by those who knew and loved her.

Those closest to Bridget will also know of her love for her family. She married Jimmy Davis in Tulsa. They were married for over 30 years, and together they had three children. While staying home to care for her children, Bridget was always busy. She loved to garden and cook, always finding new recipes to try out and creating a loving home for her children to live. As her children grew up, she also welcomed becoming a grandmother. In addition to her family, Bridget was absolutely an animal person. Her heart was big enough for any creature that needed a mom. She rescued countless animals throughout the years and simply loved to care for those who needed it. This talent for care extended to her career in the elementary school system. She worked at the school for many years with Pre K classes as a Teacher's Aide. Her prized possession was her 1976 Camaro, and she would drive it whenever she could. She loved the family sport of drag racing, going to concerts, and watching scary movies. She was a fun Mom and a great friend. Her children and grandchildren will all miss her laughter, her support, and her mischief.

Bridget is survived by her daughters, Elizabeth Sullivan, and Kelly Black and husband, Luke; her son, Jimmy Davis, II; grandchildren, Aiden and Jordan Sullivan, and Eamon and Orla Black;

her brothers, Jimmy Egan, Brian Egan and wife, Sandi, and Patrick Egan and wife, Janell; her sister, Patricia Stokes; her sister-in-law, Cecilia Egan; many nieces and nephews; and many other relatives and friends.

Bridget was preceded in death by her husband, Jimmy Davis; her parents, Ignatius “Tim” and Maureen Egan; her brother, Michael Egan; her sister-in-law Mindy Egan; and several other relatives and lifelong friends.

Family and friends gathered to honor Mary’s life on Saturday, September 12, 2026, at Johnson Funeral Chapel in Sperry, OK with Deacon Kevin Sartorius officiating.
