Funeral services for Marvin Lee Martin, 73, of Sperry, OK, were held Monday, March 2, 2026, at Johnson Funeral Chapel in Sperry, OK. Jim Martin officiated and burial was in Rest Haven Cemetery in Sperry, OK. Casket bearers were Tony Burt, Andy Martin, Mark Burt, Chuck Alberding, Brian Herzler, Jason Eurich, and Isaiah Martin.
Marvin was born March 5, 1952, in Stuart, OK, to Frank Martin and Gladys Pauline (Welch) Prosser. He passed away February 19, 2026, in Sperry, OK.
Marvin has been self-employed, owning his own courier service, known as Tulsa Arrow Express, for the past 45 years. Marvin loved his farm, “Marvin’s Dream” and his herd of cows, calves, and pet bull “Wooly Bully, Jr.” Marvin would spend hours watching his cows, especially the calves as they played. He’d pick pears off of the tree to give to them, which always caused quite a scene as they’d all push each other out of the way to get to him. But Marvin always made sure to give “Wooly Bully” extras.
He is survived by his wife, Edna “Ande” Langan-Martin; children, J.D. Martin, Anthony “Andy” Martin and wife, Mandi, Monique Greenway and fiancé, Jason Eurich, Cynthia Reynolds and husband B.J., Kimberly Alberding and husband, Chuck, and Veronica Litfin and husband, Nevada; grandchildren, Naveah Martin, Isaiah Martin, Gabby Martin, Brian Herzler, Billy Reynolds, Myla Pennington, Lianna Pennington, Cooper Litfin, and Brooks Litfin; sisters, Sandra Burt and Rita Cheasbro; brother, Tony Burt and wife, Gayle; nieces and nephews, Brenda Stout, Gina Peak, Janice Harris, Mark Burt, Mickey Burt, and Barry Burt; and many other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his first wife, Donna (Denton) Martin; father, Frank Martin and wife, Gertie; mother, Pauline Martin-Prosser; and numerous grandparents, aunts, uncles and cousins.
Arrangements and services were entrusted to Johnson Funeral Home, Sperry.
