Margie Mae Cook

Memorial services for Margie Mae Cook, of Owasso, were held Saturday, March 3, 2012 at Baptist Village Alsup Chapel in Owasso, OK. Reverend Leonard Pirtle officiated and burial was in Osage Gardens Cemetery in Skiatook, OK.

Margie was born February 2, 1924 in Wolco, OK to Joseph Archie and Mable Bernice (Randolph) Coltharp. She passed away February 22, 2012 in Owasso, OK at the age of 88.

Margie was a housewife and homemaker. She was a caregiver to anyone who needed help. Margie loved sewing and tending to her flowers. She was a longtime member of Trinity United Methodist Church.

She is survived by her son, Lynn Cook of Tulsa; daughter, Linda Cook of Memphis, TN; grandson, Kenny Cook and wife Sara; granddaughter, Kelly Dabbs and husband Joe; great-granddaughter, Taylor; brother, Donald Coltharp; sister, Barbara Coltharp; sisters-in-law, Idabel Coltharp and Triva Coltharp; and many other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Donald J. Cook; and son, Thomas J. Cook.
