Lola Mae "Linda" Causby

Funeral services for Lola Mae “Linda” (Nolan) Causby, 87, of Owasso, OK, were held Thursday, January 2, 2020 at Johnson Funeral Chapel in Sperry, OK. Phillip Johnson officiated, and burial was in Floral Haven Cemetery in Broken Arrow, OK. Casket bearers were Joseph Hudson, Clinton Hudson, Joseph Hudson, Jr., Morgan Hudson, Jeff Birkenholz, Dalton Birkenholz, and Brody Birkenholz. Honorary Casket bearers were Don Thomason and Lucas Birkenholz.

Linda was born March 11, 1932 in Bethesda, AR to Andy E. and Betty Berthyou (Hamilton) Nolan. She passed away December 28, 2019 in Tulsa, OK.

Linda was a homemaker and worked for DHS for 10 years. Linda and Richard were foster parents for several years and they were even named as a special foster family of the year. Linda enjoyed going to garage sales, watching professional wrestling and Dallas Cowboys football, gossiping, growing her flowers, working on various arts and crafts, listening to Elvis Presley music, and spending time with her family.

She is survived by her daughters, Kathy Thomason and husband, Don of Nashville, TN, Brenda Haskins of Mannford, Margarett Michelle Zambrano of Tulsa; son, Samuel Causby and wife Sharon of Overland Park, KS; grandsons, Joseph Hudson and wife, Mary of Sperry, Clinton Hudson and wife, Kristen of Ramona, great-grandchildren, Dalton Birkenholz, Brody Birkenholz, Lucas Birkenholz, Zoey Birkenholz, Joseph Hudson, Jr., Morgan Hudson, Kinsley Hudson, Madison Hudson, Korbin Hudson, and Baylee Hudson; niece, Kathy McMasters and husband, Greg of Tulsa; and many other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by husband, Richard Causby; two sisters; four brothers; and parents, Andy and Betty Nolan.

Arrangements and services were entrusted to Johnson Funeral Home, Sperry.
