Lisa Faye Spears was born February 28, 1962, in Lynwood, CA, to Anna Faye (Garner) Ellis and Harold Don Cash. She passed away November 20, 2023, in Mannford, OK.

Lisa was a devoted special education teacher for many years whose passion extended well beyond the classroom. She loved spending time with her family and enjoyed making various things with and for her granddaughters. Lisa was always quick to laugh, exuded joy and optimism, and seldom complained. She was rarely seen without a smile and is loved and will be missed by very many people.

She is survived by her husband, Burl Spears; sons, Wesley Spears and Brandan Spears and wife, Paige; granddaughters, Alice Spears, and Isabel Spears; Dad, Jerrell Ellis; brothers, Ed Cash, Donny Cash and wife, Teresa, David Cash and wife, Jo, and Matt Cash and wife, Tina; and many loved nieces and nephews; and countless other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Anna Ellis; and sisters-in-law, Donna Cash and Carolyn Garner, and Brother-in-law Charles Garner.

Arrangements and services were entrusted to Johnson Funeral Home, Sperry.
