Katheryn Jean Wiggins, affectionately known as “Katie”, 52, of Turley, OK, was born on January 10, 1973, in Wausau, WI to Virgil Billy Collett and Agnes Frances (Kujawa) Collett.

Katie stepped over into eternal rest on September 28, 2025, in Tulsa, OK, holding the hand of her loving husband and high school sweetheart, Eddie Wiggins and her beloved high school friend, Carrie Gauger.

Katie had many struggles all of her life but fought with bravery and stamina, trying not to allow those struggles to define her. Katie lived the best life possible due to her faith in God, the love and support of her husband, friends, neighbors and all those whom she touched, including her canine companions Ruby, Daisy, Brownie, Bailey and Dionne’s dog Buttons. Katie loved volunteering and teaching children to read at Tulsa Elementary school. She loved her flower garden, fishing, spending time doing yard work, taking trips to see her favorite sister, Dionne and loved listening to rock music from the 80’s. Among Katie’s greatest accomplishments was her 34-year marriage to the love of her life, Eddie Wiggins. Together they shared a life of joy, love and countless treasured memories. Katies enduring love, warmth, generosity and hospitality will be deeply missed by all who really knew her. Katie always gave more than she ever received. Her passing leaves a silence, but to those who knew Katie her life leaves a symphony that will continue on in our hearts.
