Johnye Pat Phillips

Johnye Pat Phillips, 84, of Sperry, OK, was born June 24, 1941, in Oklahoma City, OK, to John Paul Gilpin and Audie Lula (Taylor) Gilpin. She passed away March 18, 2026, in Sperry, OK.

Pat found joy in life’s simple blessings whether it was tending to her flowers, working in the yard, or caring for the home she loved. She enjoyed traveling and especially treasured trips to the Rocky Mountains and Galveston, TX. Throughout her life, Pat worked many different jobs, but she found her greatest fulfillment in caring for and working with small children. Pat also had a servant’s heart and was a devoted, tireless caregiver during times of need for her husband, her father, and her mother. Her strength, compassion, and selfless love touched the lives of those around her and will be remembered always.

She is survived by her daughter, Shellie Lynn Phillips; sister, Sharon (Gilpin) Goswick; and many other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles V. Phillips; her parents, John and Audie Gilpin; and brother, Paul C. Gilpin.
