John David Tackett

John David Tackett was born December 18, 1956 in Tulsa, OK, to John Henry and Vivian La June (Miller) Tackett. He passed away June 3, 2020 in Tulsa, OK.

John was the owner of B.A. Services in Texas and was a manager for Security Center in Dallas, TX. He enjoyed fishing, stock car races, motorcycle races and playing bingo. John was a wonderful husband and grandpa. The most important part of his life was his family and friends.

He is survived by wife, Michele Tackett of Owasso; sons, Henry Tackett and wife Alisa of Houston, TX and Nathan Tackett and Tiffany of Tulsa; stepson, Gary Schaal and wife, Amy of St. Clair Shores, MI; grandchildren, Ian Tackett, Finley Tackett and Thomas Tackett of Houston, TX, Skylar Tackett of Tulsa, and Marcus Schaal of St. Clair Shores, MI; sister, Linda Eshelman of Tulsa; brother, Dean Tackett of Tulsa; and many other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Vivian Tackett; father, John Henry Tackett; stepfather, Horce Allen; brother, DeWayne Tackett; and sister, Debbie Tackett.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial donations in John's memory be made to the Alzheimer's Association, Tulsa, OK chapter, or St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital.
