John Clay was a racehorse jockey in his younger days. He served in the United States Army during the Vietnam War, served as a fireman/EMT at Broken Arrow Fire Department for 15 years, worked as a blacksmith and farrier throughout his entire life, and was an avid breeder of game fowl. He also invented his own farrier hammer and created Horsehead Tool Company, Inc. which is still going strong, manufacturing, and selling handcrafted tools worldwide. He loved his children and grandchildren and family above all else. He was affectionately known as "Pa Clay" to his grandchildren. He loved FAST horses, PRETTY women, and GAME roosters, but spending time with his friends and family was by far his greatest joy. He was one of the realest and most genuine people you could ever meet. He will be missed by many.
He is survived by his former spouse, Wanda Lee Carter-Reamy and their sons, Waylon Lee Reamy and wife, Tiffany; and Shane Robert Reamy and wife, Melissa; grandchildren, Grace Hannah Reamy, Parker Clay Reamy, Carsten Shane Reamy, Riley Lynn Reamy, Gavin Robert Reamy, Jaxxon Lee Reamy, and Ryder Grant Reamy, and many other relatives and friends, including brothers, Donald Reamy and Pat Reamy, and sister, Joan Reamy-Tanner.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles Jasper Reamy, Sr. and Daisy Bell (Hardgrave) Reamy-Hicks; brothers, Charles Jasper "Buddy" Reamy, Jr., Jerry Grant Reamy and sisters, Betty Reamy-House, and Nancy Reamy-Jones.
