Funeral services for Jeremy Carson Powers, 28, of Tulsa, were held Saturday, September 1, 2018 at Contact Mission Church of Christ in Tulsa, OK. Ron Babbit officiated. Honorary casket bearers were Jeremiah Briggs, Sam May, Dale Stuart, Michael Senf, Mikey Stuart, Josiah West, Austin Booth, Chris Powers, and Christopher Little.

Jeremy was born April 24, 2018 in Tulsa, OK to Matthew Leroy Powers and Catherine Jeannette (Stuart) Haar. He passed away August 27, 2018 in Tulsa, OK.

Jeremy was a concrete laborer for The Concrete Man in Coweta. He worked hard to obtain his GED. Jeremy loved to ride motorcycles and dirt bikes. He also enjoyed the holidays with his family and friends, working out, and going camping and fishing. His passion though, was car audio. Jeremy was a ladies man. Jeremy loved his children, family and friends. If you were a friend of Jeremy’s, then you were a part of his family.

He is survived by his children, Cole Houck of Tulsa and Jaxon Eli Parks of Tulsa; sisters, Jennifer Sauceda of Corpus Christi, TX, Tabitha Powers of Tulsa, Valerie Powers and husband Chris of Tulsa; brothers, Aaron Walker of Tulsa and Jeremiah Briggs of Siloam Springs, AR; aunts, Susan Powers of Tulsa, Melody Brewer of Bennington, OK, Sandy Logan of Tulsa, Cindy Durbin of Corpus Christi, TX and Cherri Durbin of Corpus Christi, TX; uncles, Dale Stuart, Jr. of Tulsa, Mikey Stuart , William Stuart of Tulsa, Gary Durbin of Corpus Christi, TX, and Rodney Logan of Tulsa; great-uncle and aunt, Dave and Bonnie Shanahan; nieces, Malorie Lunsford, Ariel Lunsford, Sofia Lunsford and London Vaughn; nephews, Austin Emory, Damien Lunsford, Matthew Powers, and Dylan Powers; mother, Catherine Haar of Tulsa; grandparents, Dale and Linda Stuart of Tulsa, and Shirley Godbey of Bennington; great-grandma, Pat Eaves of Claremore; and many other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his father, Matthew Leroy Powers, grandmother, Evelyn Fagan; grandfather, Harold Godbey; and great-grandparents, Homer and Dolly Stuart.
