Whiteman, Richard Barnes, Jim Heyder, Lindell Webb, Kenneth Wise, Gene Jones, and the Park Family.

Pat was born on September 12, 1939, in Sperry, OK, to Leland Walter Lloyd and Allie Mae (Downey) Lloyd. He passed away November 23, 2025, in Skiatook, OK.

Pat was born at the Gibson House, more commonly known as the house with the well in the road, to Leland Walter and Allie Mae Lloyd. He was the youngest of seven children, and when his siblings came home from school the day he was born, Grandma Lloyd told all the other kids Grandpa had brought Pat home in a lunch pail. Pat’s dad was an oil pumper for a company that later became Texaco, which at the time provided housing options for its employees. After Pat was born, the Lloyd family remained in the Gibson House for six years before moving to the Texas Camp, where they stayed until July 1952. During that time Pat attended Sperry Schools until 1952. In 1952, Pat moved to 918 S Broadway in Skiatook and reluctantly became a Skiatook Bulldog. He graduated from Skiatook High School in 1957. After spending one semester in college playing football and not doing much else, he left school and joined the Navy “to see the world.” This ultimately turned out to be ironic as he was stationed in Jacksonville, Florida. He made great friends along the way, including Ray Burnsed with whom he spent a great deal of time on his free weekends. Pat was NOT a fan of the Navy and knew less than two weeks in that he had made a mistake. Nonetheless, he proudly served his country and did get to experience some once in a lifetime events, such as being the banner ship for Princess Grace at the Grand Prix in Monaco. When he left the service in 1962, he returned to Oklahoma. At that time, he went to work for the U.S. Corps of Engineers as a surveyor. Doing so, he got “to see the state” of Oklahoma while surveying many of the man-made lakes that still exist today. In the mid-sixties, he reconnected with an elementary school acquaintance, Sandra Mae Small. They married on December 23, 1966, without all the planned guests or the best man due to the significant snowfall. They began married life on North Norfolk Avenue in Tulsa where they lived until moving back to Skiatook the following year. Once in Skiatook, they never left. Sandy’s two sons, Rick and Randy, were 5 and 6 years old when Pat married Sandy, giving the previous bachelor a ready-made family. It was nine years before they got the surprise of a lifetime in the form of a baby girl. Angie was born in October 1975. In the mid-1970s, Pat made one of his closest and most trusted friends in the form of his business partner, Lloyd Garrison. In 1978 they formed Bluestem Real Estate and continued to work together until March 2024. As a team, they purchased farms, ranches and large parcels of land to subdivide and develop into neighborhoods or smaller tracts of property. Starting in the 1980s, Pat took on the role he never knew he would cherish – that of the World’s Best PaPa to 5 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild.

He is survived by his wife, Sandra (Small) Lloyd; children, Randy Holcomb and wife, Charm, Ricky Holcomb and wife, Shelia, and Angela Lloyd-Smoot; grandchildren, Tabatha Barnes, Steven Holcomb, Aiden Smoot and wife, Willow, Camden Smoot and fiancée, and Maddie, Noelle Smoot; great-granddaughter, Madyson Barnes; sister-in-law, Jeanie Lloyd; and many other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Leland and Allie Lloyd; brothers, Kenneth Lloyd, Curtis Lloyd, Dean Lloyd, Roger Lloyd, and Richard Lloyd; and sister, Maxine.

Arrangements and services were entrusted to Johnson Funeral Home, Sperry.
