Jackie Francis Reamy was born December 10, 1938, in Paris, AR, to Charles Jasper Reamy and Elsie Alma (Hardgraves) Reamy. He passed away August 1, 2026, in Claremore, OK at the age of 87. He lived a good life dedicated to his children and family.

Jackie proudly served in the United States Army and received an honorable discharge – representing his duty and honor to his country. Jackie made his living as a farrier, racehorse owner and trainer. He also raised game chickens. He was well known for his love for both. Jackie loved music, and singing karaoke anywhere he could. He even had his own karaoke machine and would bring it to family gatherings. He also sang at the Claremore Veterans Center and other veterans would request “Grand Tour” every time, along with other requests by Ray Price and Conway Twitty. He was very loved and well respected at the Veterans Center; that was apparent when his sisters would go there to visit with him and hear him sing. His sisters would always tease him when the nurses would tell him they loved him. They would ask him if he was flirting with them and he would just smile and say, “Yes”.

He is survived by his children, Andrew Reamy and wife, Michelle, Kelli Reamy-Vandiver and husband, Darrell, and Jodie Pack; grandchildren, Clifton Brewer, Justin Reamy, Jadon Reamy, Hayden Reamy and Kensie Bush; great-grandchildren, Kaelyn, Madyson, Rylan, Rhett, Tripp and Raya Kate; sisters, Janice Forbes, Sandra Bowman, Charlotte McAlvain, Joan Tanner and Jennifer Harrington; brothers, Timothy Reamy and Anthony Reamy; several nieces and nephews; and many other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Elsie Reamy; grandson, Holden Reamy; granddaughter, Kenna Jo Wilson; great-granddaughter, Bentley; 5 sisters; and 7 brothers.

Jackie will always be remembered for his wit, his humor, and great dancing – but most of all for the love he had for his family. You could count yourself blessed to have known him.

Graveside services for Jackie will be held on Monday, August 10, 2026, at 11:00 AM at Fort Gibson National Cemetery in Fort Gibson, OK with Phil Johnson officiating. Honorary Casket Bearer is Bob Bowman.

Arrangements and services were entrusted to Johnson Funeral Home, Sperry. Online condolences to the family can be made at johnsonsperry.com.
