Jack Davis Lemons

Celebration of Life Services for Jack Davis Lemons, 59, of Turley, were held Saturday, July 16, 2016 at Mac Taylor Park in Sperry, OK.

This was a day to honor the special man in our lives, who leaned on the Lord, walked by faith and led by example.

Jack was born October 18, 1956 in Tulsa, OK to Jack D. and Betty (Smith) Lemons. He passed away July 11, 2016 in Tulsa, OK.

Jack loved the cowboy life. He was a member of the Turley Round Up Club and loved participating in rodeos and bull riding. His horse was as ornery as he was. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping, and float trips on the Illinois River. Jack was also a truck driver since he was 17 years old. He married Connie Twist in 1991 and they had a beautiful life together. He was sweetheart, loved Connie unconditionally and was a great provider.

He is survived by his wife, Connie Lemons of Turley; children, Jamie Melvin of Enid, and Krista Lemons of Enid; five grandchildren; sister, Gayle Williams of Enid; brother-in-law, Bill; mother, Betty Lemons of Enid; and many other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his father, Jack D. Lemons; sister, Betty Collier; brother-in-law, Wiley “Tooter” Williams; and stepson, Stuart Hendricks
