Ida Charlene Blevins

Graveside services for Ida Charlene Blevins, 77, of Skiatook, were held Wednesday, December 21, 2016. Pastor Jamie Reeves officiated and burial was in Osage Gardens Cemetery in Skiatook, OK. Casket bearers were Dean Blevins, Coby Blevins, Gunnar Gwinn, Gable Gwinn, Bobby Blevins, and Hunter Blevins. The honorary casket bearer was Dakota Blevins.

Charlene was born June 3, 1939 in Modesto, CA to Harvey William and Rozell Wilcie (Reed) Wilson. She passed away December 18, 2016 in Tulsa, OK.

Charlene moved from California to Oklahoma shortly after being born. She was raised with her siblings in Sperry, OK. She graduated from Sperry High School in 1957 as valedictorian of her class. Charlene was married to her loving husband, Bobby Blevins, for 41+ years. She gave her life to Christ at Valley View Baptist Church in Tulsa. She was a homemaker who loved spending time with her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. Charlene enjoyed going to garage sales but, mostly she loved taking care of people and putting others ahead of herself. She was deeply loved by many and will be greatly missed by all.

She is survived by her sons, Rick Blevins and wife Valerie of Sperry, Danny Blevins of Tulsa, Bobby Blevins of Sperry, and Jerry Blevins and wife Jill of Sperry; daughters, Tina Gwinn and husband Clinton of Sperry and Misty Blevins of Skiatook; granddaughter, Hannah Blevins of Skiatook and 17 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; brother, Drew Wilson and wife Trecia of Sperry; sister, Beverly Schell and husband Don of Tulsa; and many other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Bobby Blevins; mother, Rozell Wilcie (Reed) Wilson; father, Harvey William Wilson.
