Glenda Joye Ray

Funeral services for Glenda Joye (Woodall) Ray, 84, of Sperry, OK, were held Saturday, November 23, 2019 at First Baptist Church in Sperry, OK. Reverend Rick Harvey officiated, and burial was in Rest Haven Cemetery in Sperry, OK. Casket bearers were Scott Bushyhead, Timothy Bushyhead, Joel Bushyhead and Michael Ginn. Honorary Casket bearers were Robert Bushyhead, Rachel Alyse Bushyhead, Jessie Klein, and Chelsea Thomas.

Joye was born July 23, 1935 in Tulsa, OK, to Joe Mack and Vera Marie (Orr) Woodall. She passed away November 17, 2019 in Sperry, OK.

She was a retired bookkeeper.  She had a love for all animals, especially horses and dogs, and for her family.  She enjoyed painting, rural life, community and church activities, traveling, and spending time with family and friends.  She is loved by her family and will be truly missed.

She is survived by her sons, Jory Bushyhead and wife, Vickie, Timmy Bushyhead and wife, Mary; grandchildren, Scott Bushyhead, and wife, Tina, Timothy Bushyhead, and wife, Julie, Joel Bushyhead and wife, Jadea, Alyse Wiles and husband Jon, Jessie Klein, and husband, Karl, Robert Bushyhead, Michael Ginn, and wife, Courtney, and Chelsea Thomas and partner, Cisco; great-grandchildren, Madison, Lyla, Kingston, Danica, Charlotte, Huck, Joselyn, Julianne, Ross, and Alexander; and many other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her husbands, Gerald Edwin Ray and Bobby Merle Bushyhead; son, Bobby Lane Bushyhead; parents, Joe and Vera Woodall; and brothers, Luther Gene Woodall and Billy Dean Woodall.

Arrangements and services were entrusted to Johnson Funeral Home, Sperry.
