Ginny Melissa Jean Camel was born April 4,1978 in Chicago, IL to Janie Wilson and Steven Camel. She took her last breath on this earth on November 23, 2025.

Ginny grew up in the small suburbs surrounding Tulsa before settling down in Sperry. After graduating from Sperry High School in 1996, she pursued business classes at the University of Pheonix. She worked almost exclusively for non-profits as a record-keeper or administrative assistant for most of her career.

In 1998, she gave birth to the first love of her life, Jorden! 21 months later, she gave birth to Dylan who was a momma’s boy, through and through! Dion was born in 2003, and he had her wrapped around his little finger! Anyone who knew Ginny knew how crazy she was about her boys. She didn’t miss an opportunity to cheer them on in everything they ever tried. You couldn’t convince her they weren’t the best on every team, at every performance, and little miniature Picassos in the making with every elementary craft project! She joked about them living on her property when they were grown (but she wasn’t joking!)

In 2021, she got a beautiful surprise, adding one more boy to the bunch! Little Archer brought so much new joy to her life! He was absolutely adored by her, and it was evident the feelings were mutual.

The pride of Ginny’s life was her boys, hands down. She strategically placed people in each of their lives that she knew would love them well, for such a time as this.

Ginny saw the very best in everyone. She was kind. Genuine. Compassionate. Forgiving. She accepted everyone, despite their flaws. She loved floating the river, swimming, being goofy (and sometimes completely inappropriate!), eating all the chips and salsa, line dancing, road trips, family vacations, snowmen, chocolate covered cherries, candy pumpkins, pineapple whips, watching her boys be…boys, Pepsi, and getting dolled up for any occasion!

If you had the privilege of being part of her small circle, it was truly a gift. Ginny’s passing is leaving a hole in so many hearts, but we are so grateful to have been loved by her.

She leaves behind her boys, Jorden Camel and his wife, Olivia Camel of Kansas City, Dylan Camel and his wife Kayleena of Tulsa, Dion Mack of Sperry, and Adrian “Archer” Camel-Bryant of Sperry; her grandkids, Jonas and Juniper “Lainey” Camel of Kansas City and Alora Mack of Sperry; significant other, Adrian Bryant of Skiatook; her mom: Janie Wilson of Sperry; along with several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and friends.

Ginny was preceded in death by her dad, Steven Camel, her sister, Angela Chappell; and her grandma, Grace Wilson.
