Fern Eugene Emery

Funeral services for Fern Eugene Emery, 73, of Tulsa were Friday, May 16, 2008 at the First Baptist Church in Sperry. The Rev. Andy Anquoe and Keith Millis officiated and burial was in the Osage Gardens Cemetery in Skiatook. Pallbearers were Ace Emery, Rusty Brown, Nick Emery, Joe Emery, Bryce Maye and Jake Maye. Honorary pallbearers were Doug Francis and Brandon Bos. Arrangements and services were entrusted to Johnson Funeral Home of Sperry.
Fern was born on Jan. 22, 1935 to Wilmer J. and Goldie (Beaston) York in Kellyville, Okla. She died on May 13, 2008.She was a homemaker and a business woman. She was heavily involved in the 4H organization at both the local and state levels.
Survivors include her husband, Ed Emery of the home; two daughters, Becky Jandebeur and husband, Alan, of Tulsa and Dona Maye of Sperry; three sons, Floyd Emery and wife, Dorise, of Sperry, Billy Emery and wife, Kathy, of Wagoner and Glen Emery and wife, Lynn, of Tulsa; two sisters, Edna Mae Holcomb and husband, Duane, of Avant and Marietta Forrester of Tulsa; grandchildren, April Francis and husband, Doug, of Owasso, Ace Emery of Tulsa, Joe Emery of Sperry, Rusty Brown and wife, Jeannette, of Broken Arrow, Nick Emery and wife, Sommer, of Ochelata, Lauren Emery of Tulsa, Taylor Bos and husband, Brandon, of Tulsa, Bryce Maye of Sperry and Jake Maye of Sperry; and great-grandchildren, Angelina Emery, Jill Emery, Emma Francis, Justin Emery and Addison Brown.
She was preceded in death by one grandson, Adam Doyle Jandebeur; and her parents, Wilmer and Goldie York.
