Funeral services for Everett Floyd Cheshewalla, 65, of Skiatook, OK, were held Tuesday, April 14, 2026, at Johnson Funeral Chapel in Sperry, OK. Phil Johnson officiated. Honorary Casket bearer was Bill Parks.
Everett was born July 28, 1960, in Tulsa, OK, to Andrew Sidney Cheshewalla and Virginia Irene (Street) Cheshewalla. He passed away April 3, 2026, in Tulsa, OK.
After Everett was born, the family moved to Fort Worth, TX in 1962 where he attended Everman Schools. He was a talented musician, playing the trumpet and piano. While in high school, Everett had a Porsche 911. On the weekends, he went out to the Kemedale Raceway and raced against many others. He also worked at Ryan Porsche Audi. After high school, Everett enlisted in the Navy, and proudly served his country for 8 years, where he was stationed in San Diego, CA. After his military service, he moved back to Fort Worth, TX and worked for several companies and also attended Tarrant County Junior College. He later moved to Skiatook, OK with his aunt, Janie. They took all kinds of trips together. They even went to and participated in several car shows and contests where Janie competed with her “souped up” El Camino, nicknamed the “Fuzzy Wuzzy”. Everett loved working out and lifting weights. He also loved the wildlife and all kinds of animals; he fed stray kittens, and even a raccoon outside of his house.
He is survived by his sister, Anna Cheshewalla; niece, Ashley Fredericks; great-nephews, Andrew Marin, Vincente Marin, Ashton Blanchard, Lucas Blanchard, Jacob Blanchard, Joshua Roberson, James Roberson, and Vladimir Sotelo; and many other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Andrew and Virginia Cheshewalla; sister, Sabrina Cheshewalla; aunts, Evah Jane Watkins, and Doris Lee and husband, Clifford; and uncle, Virgil Street and wife, Mary.
