Emmett Lane Bennett

Memorial services for Emmett Lane Bennett, 9, of Avant, OK, were held Monday, February 16, 2026, at Avant House of Prayer in Avant, OK. Pastor Jamie Reeves officiated. Honorary Casket bearers were Kadin Bennett, Benjamin Randolph, Joshua Randolph, Zachius Lezzi, Keylan Freeman, Hunter Randolph, Wesley Seaton, Mason Randolph, Dash Hudson, Jaxon Randolph, Deagan Taylor, Ian Taylor, James Grieshaber, Bryson Mathis, Jax King, Jermiah Gilmore, Tyler Godbey, and Kodee Godbey.

Emmett was born April 23, 2016, in Owasso, OK, to Lance Aaron Bennett and Kendra Elaine (Randolph) Bennett. He passed away on February 7, 2026, leaving behind a world that was brighter because he was in it.

Emmett was a bright and joyful soul who brought laughter and light to everyone who knew him. He was an outgoing, friendly boy who loved to talk to everyone he met. He had a creative spirit and could often be found coloring and drawing, building and fixing things, being a cowboy, or riding his dirt bike and bicycle with excitement and joy. He enjoyed playing basketball, mowing, and weed eating, always eager to stay busy and help out. Summers were especially meaningful to Emmett, as he loved camping with his family in Missouri, making memories outdoors and spending time with the people he loved most.

He will be deeply missed and forever loved by his parents, Lance and Kendra Bennett; siblings, Kadin Alexzander Bennett, Elijah John Randolph and Kenzington LilyFaye Bennett; grandparents, Aaron Dean Bennett; grandmother, Nancy Darlene Bennett; several aunts, uncles and cousins; and many relatives and friends who will carry his memory in their hearts always.

He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Kenneth Glen “Epaw” Randolph; grandmother, Elaine Ellen Randolph; great-grandmother, Opal Dean Bennett; and great-aunt, Jackie Faye Chastain.

Though his time with us was far too short, Emmett’s joyful spirit, kind heart, and bright smile will never be forgotten.
