Born on January 13th, 1952, in Memphis, TN, to James Stephan DeMuth and Joyce Lucile (Johnson) DeMuth, Beth's journey through life was one filled with love, kindness, and unwavering devotion. A beloved wife, mother, Grammy, Great-Grammy, sister, aunt, teacher, and friend, passed away on August 13th, 2023, in Sperry, OK.

Beth began her remarkable life at Circle M Ranch in Senatobia, MS, with her seven brothers and sisters, Larry, Dick, Karen, Roger, Vonn, Bruce, and Chris. She was the third child and the eldest daughter of Joyce Lucile DeMuth and James Stephan DeMuth. Her formative years on the ranch nurtured a strong sense of family and an ability to create beauty from the materials around her. In 1970, Beth's radiant personality led her to be voted Miss Raymond High School, marking the start of her journey into adulthood. The year 1970 also brought her to Sperry, Oklahoma, where she crossed paths with her destined husband, Jimmy Coyle. The following year, in 1971 at the age of 19, their love story culminated in marriage at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Skiatook, Oklahoma. Together, they embarked on a journey that would span over five decades and leave an indelible mark on all who had the privilege of knowing them. From their union came four children: Tonya, Nathan, Amber, and Jamie. Beth's role as a mother was marked by boundless love, steadfast support, and tireless dedication. She then took the treasured role of Grammy to Tyler, Emily, Walker, Skye, Elly, Raynie, and Axel, and Great-Grammy to Aubrey. Her family was her pride and joy, and her legacy lives on through them.

Beth's impact extended far beyond the walls of her home. For 23 years, she graced Sperry Public Schools as a family and consumer sciences teacher, elementary librarian, and varsity cheer sponsor showcasing her passion for education and her commitment to nurturing young people. Beth's warmth and compassion knew no bounds. The mere utterance of "Miss Coyle!" from former students would light up her face as she greeted each person with genuine affection. Outside of the classroom, she possessed a gift for sewing, creating beautiful dresses and quilts that brought joy to numerous occasions. From her own wedding dress to countless bridesmaids' dresses, flower girl dresses, homecoming dresses, and quilts, Beth's skillful hands wove love and care into every stitch. Beth's remarkable spirit touched the lives of all who had the privilege of knowing her. Her kind soul and loving nature created a legacy that will continue to thrive in the memories of those she touched.

She is survived by her husband, Jimmy Coyle; children, Tonya Niver and husband, Ray, Nathan Coyle and wife, Rachel, Amber McConnell and husband, Sean, and Jamie Scott and husband, Bruce; grandchildren, Tyler Niver and wife, Ashley, Walker Niver, Skye Ketcher, Elly Scott, Raynie Ketcher, and Axel Coyle; great-granddaughter Aubrey Niver; a host of brothers and sisters, nieces and nephews, a community, and hundreds more whose lives were enriched by her presence.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Jim and Joyce DeMuth, and her cherished granddaughter, Emily Scott.

As we bid farewell to Elizabeth "Beth" Lucile Coyle, we celebrate a life lived with kindness, devotion, and a joyful love that will forever shine in the hearts of those she left behind. May her memory be a source of comfort and inspiration to all who knew and loved her.
