Edwin Loyd "Eddie" Blevins

Funeral services for Edwin Loyd “Eddie” Blevins, 77, of Owasso, OK, were held Friday, February 24, 2023, at Johnson Funeral Chapel in Sperry, OK. Reverend Jim Crain officiated, and burial was in Ridgelawn Cemetery in Collinsville, OK. Casket bearers were Michael Ray Johnson, Joshua Stephen “Josh” Taylor, James Roy “Jimmy” Taylor, Jr., and Robert Lincoln “Trey” Taylor, III.

Eddie was born June 12, 1945, in Vian, OK, to Edgar Larkin Blevins and Nellie Margaret (Collins) Enkey. He passed away February 17, 2023, in Owasso, OK.

Eddie was a leadman for Sun Oil Refinery in Tulsa. When Eddie wasn’t working, he could be found fishing, and bird hunting with his friend Bobby. He also enjoyed horseback riding, watching various car shows and old westerns, and going to church with his brother, Freddie.

He is survived by his wife, Marguerite Blevins; daughter, Ginger Blevins; sister, Glenda Holycross; brother, Freddie Blevins; stepmother, Rosalie Blevins; stepbrother, Michael Ray Johnson; several nieces and nephews; aunt, Wanda Risley; uncles, Ervin Collins, and Morris Collins; cousins, Phyllis (Blevins) Weathers, Shirley (Blevins) Vogt, Karen Blevins, and Rudy Collins; and many other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his father, Edgar Blevins; and mother, Nellie Enkey.

Arrangements and services were entrusted to Johnson Funeral Home, Sperry.
