Ed was born January 13th, 1947, in Park Hill, OK, to Elvus Clinton Harrison and Edna Mary (Bowline) Harrison. He passed away December 15th, 2025, in Tulsa, OK.

Ed was an army vet. Drafted in 1966, he served honorably for 3 years in both Korea and Georgia as a Radio Operator. He was the oldest of 8 children and grew up in and around Tulsa, OK. Graduating from Union High School in 1965. Once separated from the Army, Ed eventually took over the family business, Harrison Drilling. Ed was known for and took great pride in his 1958 Corvette, often taking ‘cruises’ and showing off his car in car shows. If you’ve ever been to his house, you’ve seen the numerous trophies and memorabilia that he collected through the years with his car. Ed also loved to travel. He took many road trips throughout the years to Branson, MO, New England, all throughout Texas, and Tennessee. Even going farther sometimes to Israel, Cozumel, Egypt, Canada, Mexico, and Hawaii. He loved traveling to visit his granddaughter in the Coast Guard. Ed loved his friends and was known for being a joy to be around. Seen on the surface as a quiet guy, once you got him talking, he could be the life of the party! He enjoyed being the life of the party so much that he was known for throwing himself a surprise birthday party ever year. His parties will go down infamously to all those that attended. His faith and his church were a big part of his life. He was active member of the Assembly of God church until he accidentally became a Baptist within the last few years.

Ed is survived by his wife, Peggy; daughter, Sandy Bond and her husband, Doug; granddaughter Abbey Hodges and her husband, Elijah; grandsons, Matt and Evan Bond; great-grandchildren, Elias, Daphne, Samson, and Hattie Hodges; step-daughter, Rhonda Barrow; step-sons, Darin Barrow and his wife Jennifer, and Jason Barrow and his wife, Jeannie; brothers: Paul Harrison and his wife, Donna, Dwight and his wife, Vicki, and Arthur and his wife, Kim; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Edward is proceeded in death by his wife, Brenda Harrison; parents, Elvus and Edna Harrison; sisters, Patricia Robinson and Doris Harrison; and brothers, Ronald and Richard Harrison.

Ed leaves behind memories filled with laughter, stories that will be told over and over, and a legacy of living life on his own terms. He reminded us to celebrate often and enjoy the ride.

Ed will be deeply missed, forever remembered, and always loved.
